Job Description

Our client seeks a Health, Safety, and Environment Trainer to drive regulatory compliance, training program development, and strategic partnerships. The role involves liaising with authorities, conducting market analysis, securing accreditations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring performance reporting alignment. A key opportunity for an impactful role in shaping safety practices and organizational success.

As an HSE Training Manager you get to design and deliver Health, Safety, and Environment
training, ensuring compliance, assessing program effectiveness, and maintaining records. As well as collaborating with departments, analyzing incidents, and continuously improving training materials to promote a safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance and Government Liaison:

  • Oversee all aspects related to licensed authority, including the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training.
  • Coordinate with governmental and private bodies and collaborate with the Director General for seamless regulatory compliance.

2. Training Program Development:

  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify training needs.
  • Develop comprehensive training plans and coordinate the design of training packages.

3. Technical Consultation Mechanism:

  • Establish and implement a regulatory and technical mechanism to facilitate technical consultations in the safety field.

4. Accreditation Management:

  • Lead initiatives to secure international accreditations (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) and local accreditations from universities.
  • Formulate alliance agreements to enhance the center’s accreditation portfolio.

5. Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Prepare the Safety Proficiency Center as a service provider for major companies such as Aramco, SABIC, and others.
  • Manage relationships and ensure compliance with vendor requirements.

6. Performance Reporting:

  • Generate monthly reports on achievements, incorporating performance indicators and specifications.
  • Present and discuss the report with the General Director, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Saudi citizenship is a must.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing is required.
  • Specialization in engineering, business administration, occupational health and safety, or a related field is acceptable.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in training management and program marketing.
